Titanic sinking starboard view

The elegant Titanic is in her last hours of life and begins to split apart between number 1 and 2 funnel. Soon the bow will sink even further and begin its plunge, followed minutes later by the stern section. Capt. Richard DeRosset has captured the horror of this sinking in this superb painting of this event. There are 1512 stars in the sky representing each person that died on the Titanic on April 15, 1912.
