Product Description

Fort Vancouver, a Hudson Bay Company fur-trade post, was originally constructed in 1825 by Dr. John McLoughlin about 130 miles inland on the north bank of the Columbia River. The recreated fort is now part of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Many parts of the original fort were unearthed and are now a historic monument in Vancouver, Washington. The fort was protected by a bastion located on one corner of the fort.
