Nicholas Bielemeier

nick.jpgNicholas Photography, located in Hood River, OR., was established in late 1972, by Nick and Pam Bielemeier, now in their 40th year of creating memories for families in the beautiful Mid-Columbia area.  As a member of the Professional Photographers of Oregon, Nick won many awards with his photos, and also served as the President of the State Association. On a national level, several of Nick's photos have hung in Loan Collections to tour the U.S. as examples of the best in the nation, having two of the photos selected to hang in a display at the Smithsonian Institute. For his accomplishments on the State and National level, Nick earned the distinction of Master Photographer.  His love of the outdoors and nature, combined with the techniques available with the advent of digital photography, has kept Nick excited about creating Fine Art Photography even after all these years.

Currently Nick and Pam are working with the History Museum of Hood River to photograph the barns of the Hood River Valley and write the stories of the barns, the farms and the families who lived there.

Besides this current project of The Barns of the Hood River Valley, Nick’s photography also includes all the beauty and wonder of the the Pacific Northwest, its flora and fauna, vineyards, old and notable buildings, antique cars and aeroplanes, and of course, the always majestic Mt. Hood. More of his excellent work can be seen at his website:
